Jessie's school had a spring concert this week. It was at 1:30 on Tuesday. The parent turnout was impressive and the weather, although it's rained and been cold every day for the past week, held out and was decent. The kids did great...they sang several songs with accompaniment from their music teacher on the guitar and drum. They did it on the lawn of the school, which is a gorgeous old house on 5th and Catlin. The theme was about what they want to be when they grow up and they dressed accordingly. Jessie chose librarian, thus the glasses (librarians always wear thick framed glasses, right?). Afterwards, I went back to work and Boppie and Jessie went to Big Dipper for ice cream and hung out the rest of the afternoon. Boppie's been a huge help to me while Sharon's been out of town. Tonight she and Jessie met me after work at the house with a home cooked meal of fried chicken, corn, peas, and mashed potatoes. And a cookie for dessert! Thanks Boppie!
